Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LocaleSound handles personal data submitted through the website and related business communication.

Controller details. LocaleSound is being prepared as a commercial project. Full company registration details will be added after the operating company is incorporated. Until then, privacy enquiries can be sent to sales@localesound.com.

Data we collect

When you submit a license request, we may collect the company name, venue name and address, billing address, tax or VAT number, country, contact person's name, e-mail address, phone number, number of venues, message content and technical information connected with the submission.

Why we use the data

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a LocaleSound license offer or order.
  • To prepare payment, invoice and license documents if you decide to buy.
  • To maintain business records and protect the website against abuse.
  • To use optional analytics only if this is enabled later and you give consent.

Legal basis

For business enquiries, we process data to take steps before entering into a contract and on the basis of legitimate interest in handling B2B communication. If a purchase is completed, some data may also be processed to meet legal accounting and tax obligations. Optional analytics, if added later, will be based on consent.

How long we keep data

Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and follow up on business communication. If no transaction happens, enquiry data is normally reviewed and removed or archived after it is no longer useful. Purchase, invoice and license records may be kept for the period required by applicable accounting, tax and legal rules.

Who may receive data

We may use service providers for website hosting, data storage, e-mail, accounting, legal support, payment handling and technical maintenance. The current website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and website enquiries are stored in Cloudflare KV before import into the local LocaleSound call center.

International processing

Some technology providers may process data outside your country or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used by those providers.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent for optional analytics where consent was given.

No automated decisions

LocaleSound does not use website enquiries for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
