License information

This page summarizes the intended LocaleSound license model. The final rights and restrictions are defined by the individual license document issued for the customer and venue after payment.

Annual venue license

LocaleSound is offered as an annual public playback license for one specified venue. The public website presents the entry price as from 149 EUR per year for one venue.

One license, one venue

Each license is assigned to one specific restaurant, hotel, cafe, bar, salon or business space. Additional locations require additional licenses.

Music package

The customer receives access to the licensed LocaleSound music package for use during the license period in the specified venue. The license does not transfer ownership of copyrights or master rights to the customer.

Use outside the licensed venue

The music package should not be redistributed, resold, uploaded as a separate product or used in locations that are not covered by the issued license.

Documents

After payment, the customer should receive the relevant invoice or sales document and a license document identifying the customer, the venue and the license period.

Other music sources

The LocaleSound license covers the LocaleSound music package. If a venue also plays radio, TV, streaming services or third-party repertoire, separate rules, permissions or fees may apply.
